Address: ul. Zamkowa 3 , Kurozwęki
The palace from Kurozwęki has been preserved with the original urban layout. It was built at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries. Dobiesław from Kurozwęki built a defensive wooden and brick castle here - one of the first brick knight's castles in Poland. Today, the former castle after many reconstructions has the form of an impressive, characteristic palace, but fragments of the oldest, Gothic elements of the stronghold are still visible in the basement of the building.Kurozwęki was for centuries owned by several famous families, first of all Kurozwęki, and later of Lanckoroński, Sołtyków and Popiels. In the 90s of the twentieth century, the property along with the palace returned to its rightful owners - the Popielów family of the Sulima coat of arms.
