It was established at the beginning of the 17th century on the order of the staroste of Chęciny, Jan Branicki, on the place of the farm. After the desolation of Checiny, including the Chęciny castle by the Swedes, during the Deluge, the headquarters of the starost of Chęciny was moved to Podzamcze and the manor house was expanded, with an outbuilding added. At the beginning of the 18th century, in connection with the reconstruction of Chęciny, the starosta left Podzamcze, and the court itself was only a farm. In the nineteenth century, the mansion was rebuilt into a granary forging most of the baroque decor elements. In the 1920s, buildings were handed over as the headquarters of an agricultural school, then the manor and outbuilding were rebuilt, and two connectors were added between the main building of the manor and the neighboring buildings. Another renovation took place in 1939-1944. After 1945, the court housed the headquarters of the agricultural technical school and then of the school's management. Today, the original (main) building of the fortified manor house has survived from the original assumption, although it was considerably rebuilt and deprived of almost all the baroque decor, except for one window portal with the Gryf coat of arms of the manor founders, the outbuilding (also heavily rebuilt) and the remains of the moat currently used as a pond.
