A forest type reserve located in the Sieradowicki Landscape Park, where the subject of protection are multi-species forest communities with fir and outcrops of Lower Devonian sandstone with interesting rock vegetation. The Michniowski Stone located in the reserve is the highest peak of the Sieradowicki Range belonging to the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, it is 423 m a.s.l., it is an excellent climbing object. The blue tourist trail from Berezów to Suchedniów runs through the reserve. The reserve is the starting point of the black tourist trail leading to the chapel of Saint Barbara.
